Project Developers Dr. Harsha and Mr. Vikram Mehta met in junior high school in Mumbai. They have been married for 33 years and live in the Chicagoland area.
Vikram Virchand Mehta, M.S.: Chief Executive Officer of Veerayatan Sarvoday Tirtham. An architectural engineer, real estate developer, planner and builder with 35 years of experience, he has a B.S. in Architectural Engineering & Building Construction Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering and an M.S. in Architectural Engineering & Construction Management from Penn State University. The majority of his development projects are located in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. He has been involved in Veerayatan activities since 1990. He participated in the pre-construction advisory of the Jain Temple in Chicago. He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and is active in several other charity projects. He is a director of AUM Foundation, a not-for-profit entity.
Harsha Vikram Mehta, M.D.: Director of Membership and Public Relations for Veerayatan Sarvoday Tirtham. A diplomat of the American Board of Radiologists, she has been a staff radiologist at several hospitals, the acting chief of a radiology department, and an associate professor of radiology at Midwestern Osteopathic University. She has been involved in Veerayatan activities since 1990. She volunteers as a teacher of dhan yoga (a Korean method of yoga, connecting body, mind and soul-energy). She is certified in dhan yoga healing and holds a blackbelt in the martial art of dhan yoga. She has been involved in numerous spiritual, educational, and humanitarian activites in the community. She is a director of AUM Foundation, a not-for-profit entity.
